Amino Acids - are the building blocks of protein. Your body is primarily made of protein.  And protein in turn, is made up of chains of amino acids What distinguishes all amino acids is that they all have a group, (amine group), made of 1 atom of nitrogen & 2 atoms of hydrogen. (NH2)

Free-Form Amino Acids - Individual amino acids that are  unattached to each other or anything else & therefore able to be immediately absorbed into the blood stream with no digestion necessary. Since, unlike proteins, free-form amino acids require absolutely no digestion, they can be absorbed by anyone no matter how old they may be or the condition of their digestive system.  Also, unlike proteins, free-form amino acids can be taken on an empty stomach such as right before a workout.  Whereas proteins have to have a mass of food sufficient to stimulate the release of digestive juices. This is why most protein supplements are presented as blender drinks.  Free-form amino acids are not to be confused with so-called "predigested protein." which is not really predigested but actually partially digested.

Negative nitrogen balance - The condition of excreting more amino acids & protein than one is taking in. This makes it difficult to maintain ones body since the body's tissues are mainly made of protein & amino acids which require constant maintenance & repair.

Precursors - the substance from which another substance is made.

Protein - Chains of some combination of the 20 so-called "proteogenic" amino acids. (proteogenic means to generate protein). In other words their are only 20  amino acids from which all proteins in all organic life both animal & vegetable are made. Not all 20 are in every protein, but nothing else but some portion of the 20 proteogenic amino acids in repetitive long chains often approx. 100,000 amino acids long are what all proteins in all life are made from.

Secretalogical cells - Cells that secrete hormones.

Super E Plus
A natural Vitamin E formula combining three forms of Vitamin E, including d'Alpha, Gamma, and Delta Tocopherol, plus 3 Tocotrienols in a lipid base of rice brand oil to enhance absorption.

Each soft gel contains the following:
Vitamin E (Natural Vitamin E Mixed Tocopherols) - 100 IU; Tocotrienols (important part of the Vitamin E family) - 50 mg. In a Rice Brand Oil base, for important antioxidant protection of Vitamin E.

DIRECTIONS: 1-4 soft-gels daily, depending on needs, with food.

  • Tocotrienols are an important type of Vitamin E with significant beneficial properties. They have a vital impact on health, including an effect on serum cholesterol levels. With enhanced "free radical" protection. They have anticarcinogenic properties, and help prevent progression of arteriosclerosis. There are insufficient amounts in Western diets. Dr. Packer in his groundbreaking book, (The Antioxidant Network, with Carol Colman 1999) emphasizes the importance of Tocotrienols, stating they are powerful antioxidants and have special ability to prevent cancer and clean the arteries of plaque.

  • This natural Vitamin E formula is fat soluble, at least twice as potent as synthetic vitamin E, and with significantly more beneficial effects than Vitamin E supplements without Tocotrienols.

  • SUPER E PLUS contains gamma Tocopherol, which Dr. Packer also states that the latest research points to a depletion gamma Tocopherol in Aids patients, cardiovascular patients and smokers.

  • An important biological antioxidant.

  • Low levels of Vitamin E have been associated with various cancers, including colon, prostate, stomach, breast, oral, cervical, and lung.

  • Important for cardio-vascular health, and for maintenance of kidney tubules, lungs, testes, liver and red blood cell membranes.

  • Helps prevent blood clots, which can help decrease the incidence of heart attacks and strokes.

  • Desiccant pads are included in Super Vitamin E, as well as all of Montiff's highest quality products, to insure optimal freshness.

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Those wanting a nutritional program, with the excellent antioxidant protection a Vitamin E complex provides.

  • Protection against degenerative diseases. Low levels of Vitamin E have been associated with various cancers, including colon, prostate, stomach, breast, oral, cervical, and lung.

  • Cardio-vascular health and maintenance of kidney tubules, lungs, testes, liver and red blood cell membranes.

  • Helping to prevent blood clots, which can help decrease the incidence of heart attacks and strokes.

WHAT ARE TOCOTRIENOLS?

  • Tocotrienols are a very important part of the Vitamin E family, with a unique “isoprene” tail. They are naturally found in abundance in rice bran and palm fruit oil, common in diets in the Far East, but deficient in Western diets (which generally contain higher amounts of the Tocopherols).

  • Recent studies have shown that Tocotrienols have an impact in health and disease that Tocopherols alone cannot provide, especially in the field of cardio-vascular health and cancer prevention.

  • The isoprene tails on Tocotrienols increases its mobility and allows it to locate in a cell membrane or a lipoprotein monolayer, resulting in enhanced scavenger of free radical” abilities and greater antioxidant activity.

  • These isoprenoids have anticardinogenic properties, helping to combat the initiation and proliferation of these damaging cells. Recent studies have combined the use of Tocotrienols with the drug Tamoxifen in breast cancer therapy.

  • Tocotrienols assist in preventing the progression of arteriosclerosis by protecting the lipid-carrying molecules of the blood such as LDL and HDL.

  • Both Tocotrienols and Tocopherols have an important role in influencing serum cholesterol levels and their effects relate to cellular HMG-CoA reductase (or HMGR) suppression.

  • Studies show that Tocotrienols, along with alpha lipoic acid, may have a role in preventing oxidative damage associated with ischemia.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TAKING SUPER E PLUS with both Tocotrienols and Tocopherols?

  • Vitamin E has been shown in numerous studies to be important in cardio-vascular health and have important antioxidant properties.

  • Super E Plus combines natural mixed Tocopherols (d’alpha, gamma, and delta) with important Tocotrienols (d'Alpha, gamma, and delta) to significantly increase effectiveness and give enhanced protection.

  • Natural Vitamin E is fat soluble, and at least twice as potent as synthetic vitamin E.

  • This Vitamin E formula has high biological activity, and is provided in a lipid base of rice oil to enhance absorption.

  • It is necessary to include important Tocotrienols, which are deficient in our diets, along with Tocopherols, since they are so important for good health.

  • Tocotrienols and Tocopherols work together to reduce serum cholesterol, and have anticarcinogenic properties.

  • Medical research has noted the important anti-platelet aggregation properties of Vitamin E, showing its influence in vascular disease.

  • Vitamin E’s effect on prostaglandins and inhibition of platelet aggregation helps to prevent blood clots and it is often used, in conjunction with aspirin, to help decrease the incidence of heart attacks and strokes.

  • Diabetics, whose glucose is uncontrolled, are more prone to atherosclerosis diseases. Also, in a study of 944 men, who had no diabetes at baseline, it was found that low vitamin E levels had an association on the risk of diabetes after the four years period.

  • Vitamin E is important for healthy skin, and it enhances the antioxidant defense system necessary from exposure to environmental factors.

  • Super E Plus is a bioavailable complex of natural vitamin E, which is a very important antioxidant necessary to help inhibit many chronic disorders.

  • Desiccant pads are included in Super E Plus, as well of all of Montiff’s high quality nutraceuticals, to insure freshness.
